A rare Dutch 18 carat gold open faced verge pocket watch with date, circa 1800. An ultra-thin full plate movement, chain and fusee, three-arm brass balance. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, red Arabic numerals for indication of the date and an outer minute track with Arabic quarter-hours. Plain case. Dial and cuvette signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
