A Swiss silver gentleman’s  pocket watch with full calendar and moon phase in near mint condition, circa 1980.
Silver case lavishly engraved, glazed movement.  White dial, bridge movement, Glucydur screw balance.

Only 1,000 pieces of this striking and highly complicated pocket watch in a Sterling silver case were ever produced. The lavishly florally engraved bridge movement caliber 9721 is fitted with a Glucydur screw balance with index spring fine adjusting system and shock protection and has an adjustable full calendar.

The watch was also available in a skeletonized version reference 5501, no more than 500 of these were created. In 1984 the price for this watch was 79,000 D-mark.
