A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph lever pocket watch with 30 minute register, circa 1900. Nickel finished, jewelled lever movement, a cut bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding and the minute repeat activated through a slide in the band. White enamel dial with black Breguet hours, an outer minute track, a calibrated fifth of a second track with outermost red Arabic five minute/second numerals, a 30 minute register at 12 o’clock, auxiliary seconds at 6 and black spade hands. A polished case. Dial signed, case numbered.
