An English 18 carat gold half hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by S. Smith & Son Ltd in London, London Hallmarked for 1919. The gilt ¾ plate movement with an English lever escapement, and cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel double spade hands. The polished hinged case with a blue Roman numeral chapter on the front, a monogram on the back and stamped R&S. An inscription on the cuvette. Dial and movement signed, and with matching numbers, case numbered.
