A Swiss 9 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by Rolex in Geneva, Birmingham Hallmarked for 1928. The Swiss lever movement with a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. Associated gilt dial with black Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, the center decoratively engraved, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A polished case. Dial and movement signed, case numbered and stamped A.L.D.
