An English 18 carat gold half hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Henry Capt in London, circa 1880. The gilt Swiss lever movement with 19 rubies, and a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel double spade hands. The engine turned hinged case with a Roman numeral chapter on the front. Dial and movement signed, cuvette signed and numbered, case numbered and stamped B&P. Comes with a 9 carat gold chain and 1794 Guinea fob.
