Extremely rare English pocket chronometer by John Arnold no.36 / 337, circa 1783.
Completely original condition, silver London hallmarks of 1783, case maker punch WW, Arnold chronometer movement with OZ- balance, solid gold hairspring with a double terminal curve, diamond endstone, pierced cage, completely signed and numbered plate.
Original enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel hands, excellent condition, museum standard piece.
