Extraordinary, early Swiss 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1856. Case with special floral engraving, described in the extract from the archives as ‘Fond gravé d’ornaments fleurons’. Dome signed and numbered. Lépine calibre, cylinder movement with extraordinary bridges. Screwed white enamel dial with Roman numerals and filigree Breguet hands, with minimal imperfections at the screws. Comes with an extract from the archives.
