An English 18 carat gold pair cased repoussé verge pocket watch with chatelaine, Hallmarked London 1749. Outer case repoussé in nearly perfect condition, mythological high relief scene, plain inner case with master’s mark IW. High quality London verge movement with magnificent cock and diamond endstone, plate signed and numbered. Signed white enamel dial with filigree steel poker & beetle hands. Accompanied by a fire-gilt chatelaine with the, probably, original key.
