A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced ankerchronometer pocket watch, ‘Chronomètre Du Bois’, circa 1900. Geneva top calibre, very similar to the calibres of Patek Philippe, large chronometer balance, fine adjusting device, wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours and red Arabic minutes, rose gold hands. Plain case.  Cuvette inscribed: Du Bois & Compa Rua do Hospicio No 93 Rio-de-Janeiro. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching number.
