A heavy and exceptionally large Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased astronomical lever pocket watch made for the Russian market, circa 1900. Very complicated lever movement with chronograph, repeating the quarter hours, triple calendar, moon phases and ages of the moon. Cuvette inscribed Chronographe Répétition à Quarts Paris 1889 Quantième Phases de Lune. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Russian inscription, blued steel hands. Plain case. Case and cuvette numbered.
