Very rare English brass and enamel pair cased astronomical coach clock with regulator dial, very early seconds indication, moon phases and moon age made for the Chinese market, circa 1780. Verge movement, diamond endstone. White, restored, enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and seconds, regulator indication and a rare indication of the moon phases and age of the moon. Florally engraved brass case, gilding partly still present, the back with polychrome enamel scene, the front set with stones of which two are missing, engraved inner case, the back with a central sun motif and various musical instruments. Movement signed and numbered.
