An extremely heavy and early German 18 carat gold hunting cased ankerchronometer pocket watch, circa 1881. Glazed movement, very early lever chronometer movement with the rare Patentrücker, screwed gold chatons, gold escape wheel, gold lever and diamond endstone. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Plain case. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered, case and movement with matching numbers corresponding to the Lange & Söhne archive information from 1881. Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
