A very fine Swiss silver open faced deck chronometer with centre seconds, circa 1944. Gilt chronometer movement, Geneva striping decoration, fine adjusting device, lever escapement, Guillaume balance. Silvered dial with Arabic numerals, 1/5-second graduation and blued steel hands. Plain case. Case signed, dial signed, movement signed and numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives, confirming that the watch was made in 1944.
