A fine and rare American 14 carat rose gold open faced keyless lever watch, circa 1908. Full plate nickel finished lever movement, 17 jewels. Gold cuvette. Light blue enamel dial with purple and blue Arabic numerals, outer red calibrated fifths seconds ring, blue Arabic five minute divisions, Rockford signature with scroll motif and blue enamel diamond shaped highlights, subsidiary seconds, Louis XV hands. Engraved case with star and shield motif to the back, cartouche, the bezel and rim with a geometric scroll design. Case signed Bay State and numbered, dial and movement signed by watchmaker, movement numbered.
