A Swiss gilt metal hunting cased quarter repeating lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Gilt split three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring, club foot lever escapement, slide quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands. Plain case, monogram engraved on the front cover, gilt slide in the band.
