A rare and large Swiss gilt open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1874. Nickel-plated, decorated movement, early calibre Jones 6N quality S, screwed gold chatons, extreme regulator hand, gold screwed compensation balance. Original white enamel dial in perfect condition with Roman hours, subsidiary seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. American case with some rubbed gilding. Dial and movement signed, movement numbered.
