A very heavy Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer with chronograph and register, circa 1900. Very rare ankerchronometer movement with chronograph, balanced lever, fine adjusting device. Cuvette inscribed Chronomêtre Chronographe Compteur de Minutes. Solid, plain case, monogrammed UG. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours, red Arabic five minutes, 30 minutes counter, subsidiary seconds and rose gold hands. Dial and cuvette signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered.
