An extremely rare, probably unique Swiss platinum and diamond-set Art Deco dress watch, circa 1938. IWC top calibre, screwed gold chatons, fine adjusting device, regulated in six positions. Silvered dial with applied white gold Breguet numerals, signed International, Art Deco hands. Case punched 1938, which probably corresponds to the year of production, platinum punch, diamond setting on the front.

As the watch has no serial number in the case and the dial signature is International, it is assumed that International Watch Co made this watch on a special request for an order from the USA. IWC pocket watches with platinum cases are extremely rare.
