A fine American gentleman’s dress watch, circa 1881.
18 Carat gold, tiered, engine turned case with reeded band, glazed gold dome and inner lid with dedication engraving. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, with Geneva striping decoration, wolf’s teeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised “Moustache” lever.
