An early silver English gilt metal oval verge watch, circa 1630, oval gilt brass full plate movement signed Simon Bartram, flat steel two-arm balance, pierced and engraved pinned balance cock in the form of a dolphin.
Finely engraved dial depicting a church within a landscape to the center and flora and fauna decoration to the outside, surmounted by a winged mask, applied chapter ring, Roman numerals, touch pieces.
Polished silver covers, engraved band, bud finial.
