A fine and ultra-thin American 18-carat gold and blue enamel open-faced lever pocket watch, circa 1940. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 4 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring. Champagne-colored dial with a textured pattern, black painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track, and original blued steel hands. Engine-turned case with blue guilloché enamel surround. Dial and movement signed.
