A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch with a transparent glass inner cuvette, circa 1900. Rhodium plated E grade movement, 20 jewels, some in screwed gold chatons, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, plate engraved Elsons Patent, Sept. 15, 1868. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with printed Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds dial and original blued steel Breguet hands. The front of the case decorated with an engraved coat-of-arms, the back with initials C.C.W., cover and back with reeded edges. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Accompanied by a letter.
