Stainless steel split seconds chronograph by Ulysse Nardin

A fine and large Swiss stainless steel open faced keyless lever split seconds chronograph pocket chronometer with instantaneous 30 minute recorder, tested by the Federazione Italiana Cronometristi and completed circa 1956. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 26 jewels, fast beating straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer index regulator, button on the winding crown and push piece in the band for the splitseconds function. White enamel dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute/second markers, extreme outer chronograph ring divided into 1/5th and 1/10th of a second, subsidiary seconds and 30 minute register and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case with screwed down case back. Detachable stainless steel cuvette. Dial, case and movement signed, caase numbered. Accompanied by the original Ulysse Nardin leather covered fitted field case and strap.
