Silver and rose gold open faced keyless lever by Patek Philippe

Very fine and rare Swiss silver and rose gold open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1891. Made for C. Kobell, horloger, Rome, sold on July 7, 1894. Frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, moustache straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with Phillips terminal curve, Wilmot’s patented cam micrometre regulator. Hinged silver cuvette engraved with the retailer’s details. Matte silver dial with champlevé Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds original blued steel spade hands. Polished case, rose gold hinges and flanges, the interior of the back cover engraved A Filippo Keller amici ed alievi D.D. Dial, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
