A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, sapphire and diamond-set Art Nouveau keyless lever pendant watch with matching diamond and sapphire-set gold brooch/necklace fitting signed Shreve & Co, circa 1900. Nickel movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, moustache straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved monogram. White enamel dial with blue Paris numerals, outer minute track outermost Arabic five-minutes in red ad original gold Louis XV hands. Case covered with translucent blue to grey gradated matte enamel amongst diamond and sapphire-set Poppy and whiplash decoration in high relief, the decoration continuing through the bezel and band, inside of the case back with engraved dedication. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
