It is uncommon for a watch with extra complications such as minute repeating to achieve the Chronometer standard as the extra mechanical function can have an adverse effect on the timekeeping. This timepiece has been marked ‘Extra Quality’ by the maker. It has therefore been made to very exacting standards which resulted in a Bulletin d’Observatoire being awarded after a Chronometer trial.
