A very fine Swiss 18-carat gold open-faced split-seconds chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1900. Movement with 24 jewels, straight-line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second division with red Arabic five-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds, and original blued steel spade hands. Polished case, concealed hinge, rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds. Dial, case, and movement.
