A fine Swiss 36 hours going keyless lever marine chronometer with power reserve indication in a mahogany deck box, circa 1945. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented cam-type micrometre regulator. Glazed cover over the movement. Matte silver dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock with Arabic 10-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12 and original blued steel spade hands. Two tier mahogany box, gimballed and weighted brass case, threaded glazed bezel with reeded edge. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
