A fine, elegant Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced lever dress watch, circa 1945. Sold on January 25th, 1947. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Two-tone silver dial with printed Arabic quarter-hour numerals and applied pink gold dot indexes, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original rose gold baton hands. Solid case, polished, stepped bezel, circular bow. Dial, case and movement signed. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
