Art Nouveau keyless cylinder watch

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel, opal, pearl and ruby-set open faced Art Nouveau keyless cylinder pendant watch, circa 1900. Matte gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette overlaid with translucent aubergine guilloché enamel. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer gold dot minute divisions and original gold Louis XV hands. Matte bezel and band, hinged and pierced case back in the form of a dragonfly with opal body and ruby eyes, flanked by two pearl-set flower heads, chased leaf bow.
