Gold split-seconds chronograph

A very fine, rare and thin Danish 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever split-seconds chronograph pocket watch with an instantaneous 30-minute register, circa 1915. Rhodium-plated movement, 31 jewels, a straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to all positions and temperatures, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. A hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, an outer minute track and concentric red fifth of a second indexes, outer Arabic five-minute/second numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30-minute register at 12 and blued steel Breguet hands. The polished case with a co-axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph hand, a button at 11 o’clock for the split-seconds and re-join, a slide at 11 for locking the chronograph. Dial, case and cuvette signed, movement signed and numbered.
