Nickel cased split-seconds chronograph

A fine and rare French nickel open faced keyless lever pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute recorder, circa 1910. Matte gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Hinged nickel cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer Arabic minute and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, 30-minute register at 12 and gold spade hands. Polished case with a co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, an olive-shaped button at 11 o’clock for the split-seconds. Dial signed, case and movement signed.
