Chromed steel chronograph
–
A fine Swiss chromed steel open faced chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with register, circa 1930. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. A snap-on chromed steel cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track with concentric fifths of a second divisions, red five-minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute register at 3 and blued steel hands. The polished case with a co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph, snap-on back. Dial signed, case and movement numbered.
