A fine Swiss asymmetric 18 carat white gold keyless lever dress watch with a white metal long chain, circa 1931-1932. A rhodium-plated Observatory movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to eight positions, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, Rolex patented escapement protecting cap and index regulator. The front is silver showing an eccentric dial with baton indexes for the hours, outer minute divisions and blued steel epee hands, subsidiary seconds below. The irregular hexagonal, polished case with a pendant ring at the top right corner, Glasgow import marks for 1931-1932. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered.
