A very fine and small Swiss 18 carat rose gold and diamond-set open faced quarter repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1900. A Rhodium-plated movement with Geneva Striping decoration, 23 jewels, a counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil and index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. The hinged gold cuvette with an engine-turned border. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. A polished case with a rose-cut diamond-set monogram on the back. Cuvette signed, movement numbered.
