A fine Swiss stainless steel Staybrite chronograph lever dress watch with register, circa 1920. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Two-tone silver dial with painted Arabic numerals, outer Arabic five-second numerals, outermost fifth of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register. Polished and brushed case, inclined bezel, button at 11 for start/stop of the chronograph, at 1 for temporary stop with automatic catch-up facility, snap-on back. Dial signed.
