A rare Austrian silver mounted hunting cased verge pendant watch with enamel mythological paintings, circa 1830.
Case with a polychrome enamel mythological painting on both sides as well as on the inside, partly depicting nude scenes, case maker’s mark JW. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, a polychrome enamel scene in the centre, blued steel Breguet hands, a small chip by the winding shaft. Gilt verge movement. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with the, probably, original key.
