A fine Austrian Viennese quarter repeating coach watch in a gilt metal and leather oval case, circa 1800. Gilt full plate verge movement with central pierced and engraved balance cock, 3-arm balance and blued steel regulation, polished steel hammer striking on a gong.
White small enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer five-minute markers. Recessed within gilt oval hinged inner case, within hinged gilt metal case with leather cover and gilt Roman chapter, push repeat activated via the stem. Dial signed.
