An American gilt metal keyless wind hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1890. Gilt full plate Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel spade hands. Foliate engraved hinged case, blank cartouche to front, engraved image of a dwelling to the back.
Movement signed Appleton, Tracy & Co. dial signed American Watch Co.
