A fine and early German 18 carat gold hunting cased keywound lever watch, circa 1867. 3/4 Plate gilt finished jewelled keywound lever movement, finely hand engraved balance bridge, bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, gold lever and escape wheel, diamond endstone. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Plain American made case with gold cuvette engraved John V. Scott, ribbed band. Case numbered and stamped FL&Co., dial and movement signed.
