An extremely fine, rare, early Swiss 22 carat gold, enamel and rock crystal single-hand pendant watch, circa 1660. Gilt brass full plate verge movement, chain fusée, worm and wheel set up, pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, lyre-shaped pillars. White enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals centred by a gilt and turquoise enamel decoration depicting birds and flowers, single steel hand. Case with carved rock crystal covers divided into twelve radial sectors, mounted in gold frames decorated with printed polychrome enamel flowers in high relief. Movement signed. Later pendant.
