A rare American 14 carat tri-colour gold and gem set hunting cased keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1892. Mechanical 3/4 plate jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance. Inscribed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, sapphire paste five minute divisions, gilt floral and swag spacers, central light blue geometric motif with gilt border, subsidiary seconds and Louis XV hands. Engine turned center to the case back with green gold stag in a landscape, bordered by diamond and ruby set ring, outer rim with tri-coloured engraved florets with swags, front cover with blue and red enamel monogram reading LT surrounded by tri-coloured engraved florets and leaf motif, hinged back. Dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
