A Swiss gunmetal open faced minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1890. Nickelfinished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic balance, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, activated through a gilt slide in the band. Gunmetal cuvette. White enamelled dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Polished case, monogrammed hinged back, gilt bow and hinges. Case signed and numbered, movement signed.
