A fine, rare American 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1895. Nickel finished lever movement, 17 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary dial and blued steel hands. Chased and engraved case, scallop design to both sides, polished blank cartouche to the front, the back with floral motif in a vase, engraved band. Dial and movement signed, movement numbered, case and cuvette numbered, cuvette stamped A.W.C. Co.
