An American silver open faced keyless lever deck watch with up and down indication made for the US Navy, circa 1940. 3/4 Plate nickel finished lever movement, 21 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, double roller, motor barrel. Silver cuvette. Silvered matte dial with Arabic numerals, fan form up and down indicator at the 12 o’clock, sunken subsidiary dial for constant seconds and blued steel spade hands. Oversized case engraved US Navy N. 5259, hinged back. Comes with two tier wooden box. Dial and movement signed and numbered, case numbered and stamped C.W.C. Co. for Crescent Watch Company.
