A rare French 14 carat gold, amethyst and mother-of-pearl keyless lever watch in the form of a shell, circa 1960. Jewelled lever movement. Silvered dial, applied gold baton numerals, all hinged into the shell form case, front and back lid as shell carved pieces of mother-of-pearl fitted into the gold framework of the case, cabochon amethyst set crown, with corresponding gold and cabochon amethyst set pin brooch. Dial signed.
