A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced pocket watch, circa 1911. Retailed by M.A. Hagen Newton Co in Fargo, North Dakota, U.S.A. The keyless lever movement with 20 jewels. The gold cuvette is inscribed Lynn Redmond Sarles from Father and Mother on his twenty first birthday March 1st 1909. White enamel dial with Breguet hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt hands. Both bezels are decorated with a champlevé enamel Greek key motif, a blue enamelled monogram on the case back. Case, dial and movement signed and numbered, movement further signed by the retailer.
