A fine and elegant Swiss 18K gold, enamel and pearl-set lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1900. Retailed by L. Contreau, 5 Rue de la Paix. The bezel is set with seed pearls, the back cover is decorated with translucent royal blue enamel and gold paillons, seed pearl-set border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost large Arabic five-minute numerals and gilt Louis XV hands.
A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator.
