Very small Swiss silver and gold ball-form lady’s pendant watch with bezel winding, circa 1900. A ball-form, polished case with bezel winding and hand-setting, flower suspension loop and short chain. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals and red 12, outer gilt dot minute divisions and gold spade hands. A matte gilt, full plate movement, ten jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator.

Miniature ball watches are very rare. At only 14 mm in diameter and with a five-movement, the present watch is likely to be one of the smallest ever made.
